About the Role

The Control Room Operator is an essential part of the CashTrans operations team. You will be responsible for monitoring and managing control room activities to ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient execution of Cash-in-Transit operations.

As a Control Room Operator, you act as the first line of defense — coordinating responses to alarms, tracking vehicle movements, supporting field teams, and ensuring complete situational awareness 24 hours a day.

Key Responsibilities

As a Control Room Operator, you will perform a variety of critical operational tasks that support daily CIT activities. Your main duties include:

1. Control Room Operations

Monitor live feeds, vehicle routes, and field activity through control room systems.

Track armored vehicles and security teams during their routes to ensure adherence to schedules.

Respond to alerts, incidents, or emergencies promptly and escalate them to relevant authorities or managers.

Maintain communication with drivers, guards, and team leaders during operations.

Coordinate real-time updates and assist teams in resolving any operational disruptions.

2. Surveillance and Safety Management

Operate CCTV and vehicle tracking systems to maintain 24/7 situational awareness.

Identify irregular activities or potential threats and take immediate corrective action.

Ensure that all CIT movements are conducted in compliance with safety and security protocols.

Report any deviations, accidents, or incidents to the supervisor in real-time.

3. Communication and Coordination

Maintain consistent communication with field teams, supervisors, and control room colleagues.

4. Data Entry and Reporting

Qualifications and Requirements
