As a Guest Service Officer, your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Handle telephone, email, and online inquiries related to room bookings, rates, and availability.
Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, promotions, and local attractions.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with guests and team members.
Process new reservations, cancellations, and modifications in line with Hyatt’s standards and policies.
Ensure that all booking information is accurate and up to date in the property management system.
Coordinate with other departments (Front Office, Sales, Housekeeping) to ensure guest requests are fulfilled.
Monitor room availability, rate changes, and special packages to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Strive to exceed guest expectations through personalized and proactive service.
Handle guest complaints or special requests effectively and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
Assist repeat and VIP guests by providing special attention and tailored services.
Promote Hyatt’s loyalty programs and encourage membership sign-ups to enhance guest engagement.
Maintain accurate daily reports on reservations, cancellations, and guest feedback.
Update guest profiles and ensure data integrity in the system.
Assist the Reservations Manager in compiling occupancy forecasts and performance reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and data protection requirements.
Support colleagues and departments in achieving common goals.
Attend daily briefings, training sessions, and departmental meetings.
Share information and best practices to maintain consistency in service delivery.
Demonstrate a cooperative and supportive attitude in all interactions.
To be considered for the Guest Service Officer position, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
A diploma or degree in Hospitality, Tourism Management, or a related field.
Previous experience in hotel front office, reservations, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Knowledge of Arabic or additional languages is a plus.
Familiarity with hotel management software and Microsoft Office tools.
A friendly and professional demeanor with a passion for serving others.
Able to handle challenging situations calmly and efficiently.
Accuracy in processing bookings and guest data.
Ability to collaborate and maintain positive working relationships.
