Position Title: Manager – Finance & Regulatory Reporting
Department: Finance
Reports To: Head of Finance / Financial Controller
Al Ansari Exchange is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Finance & Regulatory Reporting Manager to join its growing finance division.
This key leadership role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and compliance of all financial and regulatory reports in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and UAE regulatory frameworks set by entities such as:
Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (CBUAE)
Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA)
Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC)
Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM)
The successful candidate will lead reporting initiatives, streamline processes, and serve as a bridge between finance, compliance, and senior management to maintain the organization’s high standards of financial governance.
🧹 Housekeeping Coordinator – Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah
As Manager – Finance & Regulatory Reporting, your duties will include but are not limited to:
Prepare, review, and submit timely and accurate regulatory reports to the CBUAE, SCA, ADGM, and DIFC authorities.
Ensure compliance with all local financial regulations, reporting frameworks, and prudential guidelines.
Liaise with regulators, auditors, and other external stakeholders regarding regulatory submissions and clarifications.
Maintain detailed documentation and audit trails for all regulatory filings.
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial data across systems and ledgers.
Support financial audits, provide schedules, and respond to auditor queries efficiently.
Prepare consolidated financial reports and variance analyses for management and board review.
Strengthen internal financial controls and ensure proper reconciliation procedures.
Implement automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce reporting turnaround times.
Review and validate data from multiple sources to ensure consistency in financial reporting.
Partner with the finance leadership team to develop financial planning and budgeting frameworks.
Support management in decision-making by providing insights and detailed analytical reports.
Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to continuous enhancement initiatives.
Collaborate with internal departments — including Treasury, Risk, and Compliance — to gather financial data and ensure cohesive reporting.
Coordinate with external auditors and consultants to align on audit requirements and deliverables.
Communicate effectively with senior management and provide updates on key regulatory developments.
To qualify for this position, you must meet the following educational and professional standards:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
Professional qualification such as ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) or CA (Chartered Accountant) is mandatory.
Advanced understanding of IFRS principles, accounting standards, and UAE regulatory reporting frameworks.
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (preferred but not mandatory).
Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience in financial and regulatory reporting.
Prior experience in the financial services industry, banking, or a Big 4 accounting firm is highly desirable.
Proven track record of managing reporting cycles, audits, and regulatory submissions in compliance with UAE laws.
Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple reporting deadlines.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
Deep knowledge of IFRS and UAE financial regulations.
Proficiency in financial modeling, variance analysis, and data reconciliation.
Familiarity with financial reporting software and ERP systems.
Strong understanding of financial controls, accounting processes, and risk management frameworks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to present complex financial data clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across departments.
Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor junior team members.
Proven ability to manage tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.
Effective multitasking and prioritization skills in a dynamic environment.
